Audit Reports

Overview

This Report of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India for the year ending
31 March 2022 has been prepared for submission to the Governor of Madhya Pradesh under
Article 151 of the Constitution of India, for being laid before the Legislature of the State.
The Report contains significant results of the Performance Audit of ‘Implementation of
Deendayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Sahaj Bijli Har Ghar Yojana
by Electricity Distribution Companies of Madhya Pradesh’, covering the period 2014-15 to
2021-22 for DDUGJY and 2017-18 to 2021-22 for SAUBHAGYA (implementation period of
the schemes).
The instances mentioned in this Report are among those which came to notice in the course
of test audit.
The audit has been conducted in conformity with the Auditing Standards issued by the
Comptroller and Auditor General of India
