Pension-VI

Funcrions:

  • Issuance of Authorities for payment of F.P.&.D.G.;
  • Issuance of SSA to other states in respect of W.B. Govt. pensioners, all correspondence work with Pension Disbursing Authorities, transfer of FPPO from Bank to Treasury and vice versa, revalidation of FPPO/DGPO etc.  in respect of only Non-SAI sections;
  • Issuance of PPO/GPO/CVPO for payment in Kolkata Treasury;
  • Reporting and authorization of  commutation under medical examination;
  • Issuance of PPO for payment in Nepal;
  • Issuance of PPO/GPO/CVPO  in respect of non-govt. school and college teachers and non-teaching staff and their family pensions;
  • Gratuity payment to Ex-Management Staff etc.
  • Issuance of PPO/GPO/CVPO against Special Seal Authority  received from other states through P-SAI software.
  • issuance of PPO in respect of political sufferers through P-SAI software.
  • Issuance of Authority for Monthly Allowance in respect of Freedom Fighters who are getting pension under SSS pension through P-SAI software.
  • Issuance of authorities for pensionary benefits manually & issuance of Special Seal Authority in respect of teaching & non-teaching employees whose payment orders were issued by DPPG.

  • Pre-Audit of monthly Pension bills (Cash & Bank), commutation bills and gratuity bills, LTA of pension and release of family pension, post-audit of aforesaid bills, recording of nomination for payment of arrears after death in respect of the pensioners/family pensioners drawing pension from the counter of this office.

PP Party

Funcrions: 

  • Preparation of list of pending pension cases-  both district wise and office wise in every month by consulting AP registers of different Reporting sections. Spot settlement of pension cases pending with various departments of the Govt. of West Bengal through conducting party to the concerned district.

Pension Custodian Cell

Funcrions: 

  • Preservation of PPO/GPO/CVP/Special Seal Registers. Noting the fact of restoration of commuted amount of pension and the change of address of the pensioners/family pensioners in the PPO registers and cancellation of old PPO/FPPO/GPO. Updating the PPO registers in case of general revision.

Pension Library

Funcrions:

  • Indexing of all P-SAI case files received from the Reporting  sections,  noting therein the Rack number, Shelf number and Bundle number against each case file, through P-SAI Application. Preservation of old Pension case files received from different Reporting/Writing sections and Admn-III sections. Supply of old pension case files for settlement of pension cases, revision cases, court cases etc.
