Divisional Accountants/Divisional Accounts Officers are  under the administrative control  of  the Accountant General (Accounts and Entilements) Uttarakhand, Dehradun. There are 166 Divisions of Public Works, Irrigation , Rural Engineerin Service, Minor Irrigarion Departments in Uttarakhand where Devisional Accountants/ Divisional Accounts Officers are posted as compiler of accounts and financial advisers of Divisional Officers. The sanctions strenth of DAs cadre is 166 against which 104 Sr. DAO/DAO/DAs are in position at present.
