Pension Information
For Pension Sanctioning Authorities (PSA)
- Please send pension proposals to AG 6 months before retirement of the employee
- In case of voluntary retirement ensure that the service is 20 years excluding EOL on any grounds
- Please ensure that Service Register is enclosed:
- with periodical verification certificate and retirement entry
- after checking fixation of pay
- entries are complete and unambiguous
- specific remarks regarding treatment of suspension periods / un authorised absence etc.
- Please ensure pension proposals contain
- attestation on Part I and date of receipt of the application
- details of non-qualifying service
- sanction in Part II B clearly indicating the amounts against SP/ FP / RG / CVP
- where charges are pending
- Clearly indicate in the Pension Proposals / forwarding letter
- Sanction should be given only for provisional pension in case of non-gazetted officer
- In case of Gazetted officers, enclose copy of the letter to the Government for obtaining sanction for provisional pension
- Part II C for those retiring on or after 02.06.2014
- NDC (if there are any Government dues please mention the Head of account for remittance)
- Descriptive rolls – Attestation across the photos and at the end of DRs/LPC
- GIA certificate for retirements from Aided Institutions from the competent authority
- Please state the Sub Treasury from where pay and allowances of retiring employee are drawn
- Please ensure nomination form is complete
- Please ensure attestation on DRs
- Please always suggest mode of recovery if the amount recoverable from pensioner exceeds DCRG
- If the pensionary benefits are not to be released Part II B shall be struck off
