Overview

The Report of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (Composite Audit Report – Civil) for the period ended March 2024- Report No.4 of 2026, Government of Haryana, was prepared for submission to the Hon’ble Governor of Haryana under Article 151 of the Constitution of India, for being placed before Legislative Assembly of Haryana. The Audit Report was forwarded to the State Government on 14 August 2026 and has been placed in the Legislative Assembly on 1 September 2026.

This Reports contains significant results of the Performance Audit and Compliance Audit of the Departments of Government of Haryana and comprises of four chapters.

Chapter 1 explains the authority for audit, planning and extent of audit and responsiveness of Government to audit, Chapter 2 contains results of Performance Audit, Chapter 3 contains observations of the Subject Specific Compliance Audit and Chapter 4 contains observations emanating from compliance audit of Government Departments
