Part-Final Withdrawals

As per the provisions under sub-rule(2) of Rule 26 of KGPF Rules, 2016

The competent authorities may sanction Partial Final Withdrawal from balances at credit of the subscriber on completion of 20 years of service (including broken service if any)

OR during the last 10 years of service, whichever is earlier for the following purposes:

  • For purchase of site or building acquisition, reconstruction or redemption of own house.
  • For meeting the cost of higher education of self or dependent children.
  • For meeting expenditure on marriage purpose
  • For making deposit for booking a car/motorcycle/scooter/moped etc.

Conditions for Withdrawal

  • Part-Final Withdrawals may be sanctioned by a competent authority after meeting the mandatory conditions prescribed in the rules.
  • PFW is sanctioned by the Stat Government, where as the authorization is issued by Accountant General for drawal of amount
  • Only one withdrawal is allowed for the same purpose.
  • Part Final withdrawals up to 90% of the balance available in the General Provident Fund at the credit of the subscribers may also be permitted if it is applied for within twelve months before retirement on superannuation without assigning any reason.
