Theme-wise Karnataka State Audit ReportsAbout the Competition
The CAG–ICSSR Research Article Competition is being conducted under the collaboration between the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India and the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR). It is intended to encourage academically rigorous, policy-relevant and original research based on audit findings and public finance issues.
Eligibility & Participation Guidelines
Eligibility
Open to full-time bona fide students enrolled in recognised Undergraduate, Postgraduate or Doctoral programmes, subject to the detailed eligibility requirements notified for the Competition.
Mode of Participation
Entries shall be submitted online only. Participation is restricted to individual entrants. Co-authored submissions are not permitted and each participant may submit only one research article.
Submission Requirements
Research articles shall be submitted in PDF format and must follow MLA 9th Edition citation style, using Times New Roman 12-point font, standard margins and double spacing. The identity of the participant must not be disclosed anywhere in the manuscript.
Evaluation Criteria
Entries will be evaluated through a blind review process by domain experts. Assessment will focus on originality, policy relevance, methodological rigour, quality of analysis, interpretation of findings and proper use of citations.

- Participants may use the audit reports linked below as reference material.
- Submissions must be original and unpublished.
- One entry per participant is permitted.
- Research articles shall be submitted in PDF format.
- Submissions should follow MLA 9th Edition.
- Identity of the participant should not be disclosed in the article.
