Ms. Anjali Bhardwaj, IA&AS
Indian Audit & Accounts Service (2023 Batch)
Ms. Anjali Bhardwaj is an officer of the Indian Audit and Accounts Service (IA&AS), 2023 batch. She joined the office of Accountant General (Accounts & Entitlement) in July 2025 in the capacity of Deputy Accountant General holding the charge of Accounts and VLC in this office.
She holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Mathematics from Sri Venkateswara College, University of Delhi.
Ms. Bhardwaj initially joined the Government of India as part of the Indian Trade Service (ITS), serving in the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT). During her tenure, she contributed to key initiatives in export promotion and trade facilitation, including research and policy support for state-level export promotion strategies.
She completed her Foundation Course at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), Mussoorie, followed by professional training at the National Academy of Audit and Accounts (NAAA), Shimla, where she was exposed to core principles of public financial management, government accounting, audit methodologies, and digital governance in public finance.
As a part of her structured training programme, she has also undergone specialised learning attachments with premier public institutions, including, Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A), NITI Aayog (Public Policy & Governance), Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), National Institute of Public Finance and Policy (NIPFP).
She brings a multidisciplinary background spanning trade policy, mathematical analysis, public sector governance, public accounts and auditing, with a commitment to strengthening transparency, accountability, and data-driven public financial systems.
