HISTORY OF SERVICE

History of Service is maintained by this office in respect of all the Gazetted Officers in a chronological order, which have a bearing on pay, promotion, leave, pension etc. maintained in accordance with the postings of the officers during their Gazetted service period in their respective Departments/ Head of the offices.

This record contains the following information such as -

• Full Name of the Officer and the Department to which he/she belongs.
• Date of birth.
• Date of appointment
• GER Number & KGID Number
• Date of completion of Probation
• Entire service of an officer, including transfer details from one state to another
• The posts held from time to time
• Special tests passed
• The names of re-employed pensioners and also whether the re-employment is on contract or against a regular post
