Shri PK Lalu belongs to 2014 batch of Indian Audit and Accounts Service (IA&AS). Upon joining IA&AS, he completed his training at the National Academy of Audit and Accounts, Shimla. Before joining this office, he served as Director (Central Expenditure) in the office of Director General of Audit (Central), Mumbai, Deputy Director (Administration) in the office of Director Genenral of Audit, Western Railway, Mumbai and Deputy Director (Direct Taxes) Allahabad Branch office of Principal Director of Audit (Central), Lucknow. He took the charge of Senior Deputy Accountant General (Administration) of this office on 1st August 2022.
He holds Master's Degree in Commerce with specialisation in Finance Stream from Mahatma Gandhi University and Bachelor of Law from Kerala University.
