The Gazetted Entitlement (GE) wing of the Office of the Accountant General (A&E), Kerala, oversees the management of pay, allowances, and service records for Gazetted officers of the State Government. It is responsible for pay fixation, issuance of pay and leave salary slips, maintenance of service records, and processing pensionary benefits.

GE caters to the following categories of Gazetted officers:

• All India Service Officers of the Kerala Cadre
• Ministers and their Personal Staff
• Kerala Public Service Commission Members
• Judicial Officers
• Gazetted Officers working under UGC/AICTE
• Other Gazetted Officers of the Kerala state government

Key functions of the GE wing include maintaining service records, updating leave accounts and service histories, issuing special authorizations, and handling claims such as terminal surrender. Additionally, the wing processes pension papers and provides liability details to the Pension Wing upon the retirement of Gazetted officers.

This office ensures efficient and accurate management of entitlements throughout an officer's career and retirement process.
