INTRODUCTION

Finance & Communication (F&C) (erstwhile Post & Telecommunications) Audit Organization headed by Principal Director of Audit, Finance & Communication (PDA F&C), Delhi is one of the oldest specialized wings of IA&AD. The Finance & Communication Branch Audit Office, Bengaluru started functioning from 1st April 1976. Since then, Branch Audit Office, Bengaluru is housed at II^nd floor, Basava Bhavan which is a rented premises. This office is functioning with three sections (i.e., Reports, Outside Auditing Department (OAD) and Administration).

Sri K O Manjunatha is an Indian Audit & Accounts Service (IAAS) officer of 2008 Batch. He has Graduated with bachelor’s degree in science from SJM College, Chitradurga, Karanataka and Masters in Chemistry in University of Mysuru, Mysuru, Karnataka. Presently holding charge as Director, O/o Principal Director of Audit, Finance & Communication, Delhi, Branch: Bengaluru, where the jurisdiction spreads in the Karnataka State consisting of Audit of (i) Central PSUs i.e., BSNL, ITI, (ii) MoF i.e., (BRBNMPL and BNPMIL), (iii) DOP, (iv) MeitY and (v) DOT units. He was holding the charge of DAG, O/o AG, Lucknow in State Revenue and Direct taxes of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand Government, in-charge as DAG Administration, O/o AG (A&E) Karnataka for 5 years and instrumental in implementation of software for DAK, Pension package for settlement of 24000 cases in a year and maintenance of GPF cases of about 4 lakh subscribers. He was also in-charge as Sr DAG, O/o AG Telangana and Audited about 81 PSUs including Singareni Collieries and 14 Departments of Telangana Government like Irrigation, Public works, Commercial tax, Mines & Geology, Agriculture etc., auditing about 2000 units. He has conducted various Foreign audits/assignments like UN Audit of Peace Keeping Mission at Kosovo, Attended Management Development Programme at University Barclay, St Francisco, California (nominated by C&AG), Performance Audit of Project Management of United Nations, FAO, Rome and Audit of Indian Mission/Posts at Riyad, Jeddah ( Saudi Arabia) and Doha, Qatar.
