Shri Bijit Kumar Mukherjee, IAAS has joined as Principal Accountant General (Audit-II) Gujarat, Ahmedabad on 22-07-2024 (AN). He has a Post Graduate degree in English. He belongs to IAAS (Batch 1999). He was previously serving as the Director General/Local Governance Audit, O/o. CAG of India from September 2022 to July 2024.
Shri Bijit Kumar Mukherjee is responsible for the overall supervision of Office of the Principal Accountant General (Audit-II), Gujarat, Ahmedabad and is looking over the charges of Central Audit Report (CAR) Section and Internal Test Audit (ITA) Section directly. He is assisted by four Group Officers (Sr.Deputy/Deputy Accountants General) who head the Administration Group, and the three Audit Management Groups (AMGs), viz. AMG-I, AMG-II and AMG-III).
