Sh. Ravindra Pattar



Sh. Ravindra Pattar, belongs to the 1993 batch of Indian Audit & Account Services. He did his graduation in Mechanical Engineering from Prestigious and Premier University of Mysore. His earlier postings at Bangalore, Goa and New Delhi were mostly related to Audit of Central, State, Income Tax and Central Excise receipts. He has long years of experience in Auditing the Union and State Governments and also in the maintenance of Entitlement functions like General Provident Fund and Pension of the State Government Employees. He has been deputed to various foreign audit assignments of the United Nation countries like Nigeria, Democratic Republic of Congo United Nations Office (UNOV), Vienna and he has undergone training in National Audit Office London, U.K and World Bank, Washington. During his deputation stint outside the department, he has served as Director in Ministry of Health and Family Welfare under Central Staffing Scheme and Financial Advisor AIIMS Bhubaneswar and Raipur, as Director (Finance) in ICAR (Indian Council of Agriculture Research). He has also conducted audit of embassies of Bangladesh, Myanmar, Cambodia and Thailand. An avid reader, he is also a keen follower of various sports like Cricket, and loves playing basketball during his leisure hours.
