Shri JAHANGIRBADSHAH RASUL INAMDAR, IA&AS

Shri Jahangirbadshah Rasul Inamdar, (IA & AS-2004) has assumed office as the Accountant General (Audit-I), Karnataka on 16^th September 2025. He belongs to Indian Audit and Accounts Service (IA&AS) 2004 batch. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science.

Prior to assuming charge as the Accountant General (Audit-I), Karnataka, he served as the Principal Director (Autonomous Bodies), in the Office of the Comptroller & Auditor General of India, New Delhi.

He has previously served as the Principal Director, International Centre for Information Systems and Audit, ICISA, Noida (2020-24) and as Deputy Director of External Audit in UN Board of Auditor at in New York, USA (2018-20).
