Profile of Shri C. M. Sane, IAAS (1993)
Shri Chintamani Manohar Sane, IA&AS presently holding the charge of The Pr. Accountant General (Audit) I, Maharashtra, Mumbai since 28-08-2023. Shri C. M. Sane is a Commerce graduate and has completed Post Graduate Diploma in Management. He has served in various offices in the Indian Audit & Accounts Department in the fields of Accounts & Entitlements, such as, Civil, Revenue Audit, and Audit of the Defence sector. He was on deputation to Department of Atomic Energy and has also worked as Joint Secretary (Finance) in Department of Space. His foreign assignments include conducting Risk Assessment of IAEA, Vienna and Financial and Performance Audits of WHO, Geneva. He has been India nominee to the Financial Audit Board of “International Thermo Nuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER)” at Aix-en-Provence, France (2007-2009).
