*Audit Advisory Board (2021-23)
The Comptroller & Auditor General of India has constituted State Level Audit Advisory Boards, a forum for professional discussion between the senior management of audit offices and knowledgeable/experienced professionals from varied fields to enhance the effectiveness of audit. The State Audit Advisory Board (SAAB) shall advise Principal Accountants General/Accountants General on the coverage, scope and prioritization of audit approaches and techniques for audit of various departments/organisations. As far as this State is concerned, Principal Accountant General who is the chairperson of the SAAB nominates the Honorary members of the Board. On account of the restructuring of Audit offices in Maharashtra and the ongoing COVID 19 situation, Principal Accountant General re-constituted the SAAB and re-nominated the Honorary Members by extending their tenure for a further period of two years as shown below:
