1. Vision

To emerge as a Centre of Excellence in capacity building by imparting high-quality, innovative and need-based learning programmes that strengthen professional competence, promote knowledge sharing, and support excellence in public sector auditing, accounting and financial management.


2. Mission

To enhance the knowledge, skills and competencies of officers and staff of the Indian Audit & Accounts Department through structured training programmes, seminars, workshops and knowledge-sharing initiatives, thereby contributing to efficient, transparent and accountable public administration.


3. About the Institute

The Regional Capacity Building and Knowledge Institute (RCB&KI), Jaipur is one of the Regional Training Institutes of the Indian Audit & Accounts Department functioning under the Comptroller and Auditor General of India.

The Institute is responsible for planning, organizing and conducting training programmes for officers and staff of various field offices of the Indian Audit & Accounts Department. It also serves as a platform for continuous professional development through induction courses, refresher programmes, specialized domain training, workshops, regional conferences and All India seminars.

The Institute continuously updates its training methodology to meet emerging professional requirements and encourages sharing of knowledge, experience and best practices across the Department.


4. Objectives

The Institute aims to:

  • Build professional competence of officers and staff of the Indian Audit & Accounts Department.
  • Develop technical, managerial and leadership capabilities.
  • Promote continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
  • Organize high-quality classroom, online and blended learning programmes.
  • Conduct seminars, workshops and conferences on emerging issues in public sector auditing, accounting and governance.
  • Support departmental reforms through capacity building initiatives.

9. Grievance Redressal

The Institute is committed to prompt and fair redressal of grievances relating to training and administrative services.

Grievances may relate to:

  • Training nominations
  • Training schedule
  • Hostel or classroom facilities
  • Course administration
  • Certificates
  • Any other service provided by the Institute

Every effort shall be made to acknowledge grievances promptly and resolve them in a time-bound manner.


10. Right to Information (RTI)

The Institute complies with the provisions of the Right to Information Act, 2005.

This Citizen's Charter shall be reviewed periodically to incorporate changes in organizational objectives, training methodology and stakeholder expectations.
