This Report contains 29 paragraphs relating to non/short levy of taxes/duties/royalty, interest and penalty etc., loss of revenue, irregular exemption and other irregularities. It also contains a Performance Audit on ‘Collection of arrears of revenue in Finance (Taxation) Department’, having a total financial effect of Rs 666.47 crore of which the departments accepted audit observations in 28 cases (including PA) involving revenue of Rs 666.07 crore and recovered revenue of Rs 0.53 crore.
