Report No.2 of 2018 - Social and General Sectors Government of Manipur
Overview
The Report of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India on Social and General Sectors for the year ended 31 March 2017 of Government of Manipur (Report No. 2 of 2018) has been prepared for submission to the Governor under Article 151 of the Constitution of India. This Report contains three Chapters:
Chapter I deals with Social Sector. Performance Audit of Relief and Disaster Management Department is featured in this Chapter. Compliance Audit Paragraphs in respect of Department of Education (Schools), Medical Health and Family Welfare Department, Minorities, Other Backward Classes and Schedule Caste Department and Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Department are also featured in this Chapter. Follow-up Audit of Youth Affairs and Sports Department closes the Chapter.
Chapter II deals with General Sector. Compliance Audit Paragraph in respect of Planning Department is also featured in this Chapter.
Chapter III deals with Follow up of Audit Observations. This chapter points out the follow up on Audit Reports, Action Taken on Recommendation of Public Accounts Committee, Monitoring of Audit Observations and Response to Audit Observations and Outstanding Inspection Reports by the State Government.
