Overview

This Report of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India has been prepared for submission to the Governor of Maharashtra under Article 151 of the Constitution of India.

The Report contains the results of Performance Audit on ‘Jal Jeevan Mission&39; covering the period April 2019 to March 2024. The audit has been carried out as per the provisions of the Comptroller and Auditor General&39;s (Duties, Powers and Conditions of Service) Act, 1971 and Regulations on Audit and Accounts, 2007 (Amended in 2020) issued thereunder by the Comptroller and Auditor General of India.

The Performance Audit has been conducted in conformity with the Auditing Standards issued by the Comptroller and Auditor General of India.
