Overview

<p>This Report of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India has been prepared for submission to the Governor of Maharashtra under Article 151 of the constitution of India. This Performance Audit was conducted to examine planning, institutional arrangements, assessment demand and collection of DMFT fund and financial management, implementation, monitoring and supervision of the scheme for the period 1 September 2016 to 31 March 2023. Audit examined the records of the Mining Department, Directorate of Geology and Mining and selected five DMFTs viz. Nagpur, Chandrapur, Yavatmal, Bhandara and Raigad to review the effectiveness of implementation of PMKKKY scheme in Maharashtra.The report contains six chapters.The Audit has been conducted in conformity with the Auditing Standards issued by the Comptroller and Auditor General of India.</p>
