Audit Report of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India on Economic Sector and Public Sector Undertakings of Uttar Pradesh for the year ended 31 March 2018

The Report No. 1 of 2020 of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India for the year ended 31 March 2018 (Economic Sector and Public Sector Undertakings), Government of Uttar Pradesh has been prepared under Article 151 (2) of the Constitution of India and Section 19A of the Comptroller and Auditor General’s (Duties, Powers and Conditions of Service) Act, 1971 for laying on the table of Uttar Pradesh State Legislature.

This Report contains two parts comprising seven chapters as detailed below: -

Part-A: Functioning of Public Sector Undertakings: This part comprises two sub-parts relating to Power Sector Undertakings and State Public Sector Undertakings (other than Power Sector). Further, these two sub-parts comprise five chapters relating to functioning of Power Sector Undertakings, audit observation relating to Power Sector Undertaking, compliance audit observations relating to Power Sector Undertakings, functioning of State Public Sector Undertakings (other than Power Sector) and compliance audit observations relating to State Public Sector Undertakings (other than Power Sector) of the Government of Uttar Pradesh.

Part-B: Departments and Entities (other than Public Sector Undertakings) under Economic Sector: This part comprises two chapters relating to functioning of Departments and Entities (other than Public Sector Undertakings) under Economic Sector and compliance audit observations relating to Departments and Entities (other than Public Sector Undertakings) under Economic Sector of Government of Uttar Pradesh.
