As per Para 2.2 of Comptroller and Auditor General's M.S.O.(A&E) Volume-I The Accountant General (A&E) are inter-alia responsible for the Compilation of monthly Accounts of Expenditure and Receipts on the basis of vouchers and schedules received from various Treasuries and Public Works and Forest Divisions of the State Govt.


It will be the responsibility of the officer concerned with the preparation of pension case to obtain from the retiring Government servant the particulars in Form-5 from the retiring Government servant eight months before the date of his retirement. The same alongwith other pension papers duly completed will be forwarded under covering letter in Form-8 to the Accountant General six months before the date of retirement of the Government servant concerned.
