Principal Director

Shri Vijay Kothari, Principal Director of Audit (Shipping), Mumbai, assumed the additional charge of Principal Director, RCB&KI, Mumbai, with effect from 06.10.2025. He is an officer of the Indian Audit and Accounts Service (IA&AS), 2002 batch. He holds an MBA and is also a Company Secretary (CS) and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA). He has held various assignments in the Indian Audit and Accounts Department (IA&AD). At present, he is working as Principal Director of Audit (Shipping), Mumbai, since 06.01.2025. Prior to this, he has worked as Principal Director of Audit, Defence Services, Pune, and as Accountant General, Office of the Accountant General (Audit-II), Ahmedabad, Gujarat. In addition, he has also served on deputation with the Government of India (Department of Commerce) and the Government of Gujarat (Finance Department).
