Ms. Tanuja Mittal
Director General

Ms. Tanuja Mittal is an officer of the Indian Audit and Accounts Service (IA&AS),1996 batch. She holds a Post Graduate Diploma in International Marketing from Delhi School of Economics and joined the Indian Audit and Accounts Department on 4th September 1996.
She assumed charge as Director General, Regional Capacity Building and Knowledge Institute, Mumbai on 23rd July 2026. Prior to this, she served as Director General of Audit (Power), New Delhi from 14th July 2025 to 22nd July 2026.
She has served as Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) in Shipping Corporation of India previously. She has also held charges of Principal Director of Commercial Audit and Member Audit Board II, Mumbai and Principal Director of Commercial Audit and Member Audit Board III, New Delhi.
Over the course of her career, Ms. Tanuja Mittal has also undertaken international assignments for United Nations contributing to her broad exposure and experience in public sector auditing and management.
