Shri S. Velliangiri, IA&AS

Principal Director

Shri Velliangiri, IA&AS assumed additional charge as Principal Director, Regional Capacity Building and Knowledge Institute, Chennai on 1^st July 2024.  He belongs to 2005 batch of Indian Audit and Accounts Service.  He holds a master’s degree in arts.

Presently, Shri Velliangiri, IA&AS is holding the charge as Principal Director of Commercial Audit, Chennai.   Prior to this, he has held charges in various offices of IAAD in the fields of Revenue Audit, Accounts and Entitlements, Administration, etc.  He has served as Deputy Accountant General / Senior Deputy Accountant General and Accountant General in the following offices-

• O/o the AG(Audit), Manipur (January 2009 to January 2011)
• O/o the PAG(C&RA), Tamil Nadu(January 2011 to November 2015)
• O/o the DGA(Central), Kolkata(at Portblair)(November 2015 to March 2018)
• O/o the PAG(G&SSA), Tamil Nadu & Puducherry(March 2018 to December 2020)
• O/o the AG(A&E), Tripura (January 2021 to April 2023). 

His international audit and training assignments include,
