The Principal Director of Audit(PDA) is in overall Administrative and supervisory charge of the office who is assisted by the Deputy Director and Sr. Audit Officers. PDA is directly responsible to the Deputy Comptroller and Auditor General of India (Railways) for the audit of receipt & expenditure relating to East Central Railway including Construction Organisation of E.C. Railway. The Principal Director of Audit directs, monitors and controls the activities of field units situated at over the East Central Railway. He/She also has direct supervisory charge of Report & Internal Test Audit (ITA) section of this office.
