INTRODUCTION

The Office of the Principal Director of Audit (Finance and Communication) Branch at Patna is tasked with the audit of Departments, Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) and Autonomous Bodies (ABs) falling under the jurisdiction of Ministry of Communications (MoC), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) in the state of Bihar and Jharkhand. This office also works as internal auditor of Pay & Account offices under Indian Audit and Accounts Departments in the state of Bihar & Jharkhand.

Dr. Ajeet Kumar is an Indian Audit & Accounts Service (IA&AS) Officer of 2017 batch. He has assumed the charge as Deputy Director in O/o the PDA (F&C), Branch at Patna on 13.06.2022. Prior to joining this office, he has worked as DAG in Accounts and Entitlement (A&E), Jammu & Kashmir. He holds a Ph.D degree.
