Shri Uday Shankar Prasad

Shri Uday Shankar Prasad, IAAS Officer from 1997 batch has taken over the charge as Director General of Audit (Central), Kolkata with effect from 03 July, 2024. Shri Prasad has a vast experience in diverse field of Audit and Accounts for more than 26 years. Shri Prasad holds prestigious degree of M.A in Political Science.

Prior to his current assignment as Director General of Audit (Central), Kolkata, he has progressed through senior management roles in various work centres including various Foreign Assignment like prestigious audit of WHO (World Health Organisation) at Geneva, Embassy Audit at Israel, Afghanistan, Egypt and Libya etc.
