Audit Report of the Comptroller & Auditor General of India on Economic and Revenue Sectors of Uttar Pradesh for the year ended 31 March 2017
The Report No. 4 of 2018 of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India for the year ended 31 March 2017 (Economic and Revenue Sectors), Government of Uttar Pradesh has been prepared under Article 151 of the Constitution of India for laying on the table of Uttar Pradesh State Legislature.
This Report contains two main parts comprising seven chapters as detailed below:-
Part-A: Economic Sector: This part comprises two chapters relating to general information about the audited entities and four Compliance Audit Paragraphs of the Economic Sector of the Government of Uttar Pradesh. The total financial impact of the Audit findings is Rs 243.47 crore.
Part-B: Revenue Sector: This part comprises five chapters relating to the Revenue Sector of the Government of Uttar Pradesh. These five chapters contain general information about the revenue audited entities and 15 Compliance Audit Paragraphs relating to state excise, tax on sales, trade, etc., taxes on vehicles, goods and passenger, stamps and registration fees and mining receipts. The total financial implication of the Audit findings is Rs 1,751.89 crore.
