Overview

The Report contains significant results of the audit of the PanchayatiRaj Institutions and Urban Local Bodies in the State including thedepartments concerned.The issues noticed in the course of test audit for the period 2017-18 to2020-21 as well as those issues which came to notice in earlier years, butcould not be dealt with in the previous Reports, have also been included,wherever necessary.

This report contains three chapters.

Chapter – I: An overview of the functioning, accountability mechanism and financial reporting issues of Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs)

Chapter – II: Compliance audit of transaction of Panchayati Raj Institutions

Chapter – III: An overview of the functioning, accountability mechanism and financial reporting issues of urban local bodies.
