Audit Advisory Board (constituted on 30.05.2025)
The Comptroller & Auditor General of India has constituted State Level Audit Advisory Boards, a forum for professional discussion between the senior management of audit offices and knowledgeable/ experienced professionals from varied fields to enhance the effectiveness of audit. The State Audit advisory Board (SAAB) shall advise Principal Accountants General/ Accountants General on the coverage, scope and prioritization of audit approaches and techniques for audit of various departments/ organizations in Maharashtra and Goa states.
In pursuance of the orders of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India conveyed under the Headquarters Letter No. 101/51-SMU/2023 dated 21 March 2024, reconstitution of the SAAB in respect of Maharashtra and Goa states has been constituted on 30.05.2025 as shown below.

The Honorary members would be entitled to sitting fee at prescribed rate in addition to reimbursement of the cost of their lodging/ boarding and travel from residence/ office to the venue/ office and back.
