Sections and functions of AMG-III
AMG III / FINANCE (HQ) - I
Finance Cluster (HQ)-I prepares annual audit plans of units under Finance Cluster, tour programs of field parties and supervision of field parties. Processing of draft Inspection Reports sent by field parties and watching the compliances of paras given by the department relating to Stamps and Registration Department.
AMG III / FINANCE (HQ) - II
Processing of draft Inspection Reports sent by field parties and watching the compliances of paras given by the department relating to State Excise, Goods and Service Tax, Value Added Tax, Professional Tax, Planning department and also prepares various prescribed returns.
AMG III / DP CELL - I
Identifying and processing potential Draft paragraphs relating to Stamps and Registration Department and suggestion of topics for Performance Audit/ Thematic Audit.
AMG III / DP CELL - II
Identifying and processing potential Draft paragraphs relating to State Excise, Goods and Service Tax, Value Added Tax, Professional Tax and suggestion of topics for Performance Audit/ Thematic Audit.
FAW-I / SFR & FAAAT
Preparation of State Finance Audit Report (SFAR), Government of Maharashtra.
Audit of Finance Accounts and Appropriation Accounts of Government of Maharashtra and issue Audit Certificate.
Vetting of Explanatory Memorandum with regards to SFAR and Appropriation Accounts received from Government of Maharashtra.
Audit and Issue of Part Audit Certificates in respect of World Bank Aided Projects.
Certification of SOEs in respect of Centrally Sponsored Schemes and State Plan Schemes.
Issue of Consolidated Audit Certificates on Major Head 2055-444 (Railway Police Mumbai) and Security related expenditure (Scheme of the LWE affected State).
