Shri S. Sunilraj, IAAS
Principal Accountant General
Shri S. Sunilraj, IAAS, belongs to the 1996 batch of the Civil Services. He holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala, as well as a Master’s degree in Defence and Strategic Studies from the University of Madras.
Prior to his posting in Jammu & Kashmir, he served as Director General (Audit) in the India Audit Office, London. He has also held various audit as well as accounting assignments in the office of the CAG of India as well as other offices in Gujarat, Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu.
During his deputation to the Government of Kerala, he was on the Board of Kerala Water Authority as Member (Accounts). His international audit assignments include the audit of the United Nations, the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
An avid badminton player, his other interests include reading, gardening, water conservation, and renewable and green energy sources.
