Shri Naveed Ahsan Bhat is an officer of the 2023 batch of the Indian Audit and Accounts Service (IA&AS), presently serving in the Office of the Principal Accountant General (Audit), Haryana, where he holds independent charge of Audit Management Group-I (AMG-I).
Before joining the IA&AS, he served in the Indian Information Service (IIS) as an Assistant Director.
In his current capacity, he is entrusted with the audit oversight of key governance clusters in the State of Haryana:
- Cluster I: Departments of Health, Women and Child Development, Medical Education and Research, Social Justice and Empowerment, Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes, and Sainik & Ardh Sainik Welfare
- Cluster II: Departments of School Education, Higher Education, Sports, Youth Empowerment and Entrepreneurship, and Labour
- Cluster III: Departments of Environment, Forest and Wildlife, and Science and Technology
In addition to this, AMG-I under his charge also undertakes the audit of various bodies functioning under the administrative control of the above sectors.
