Sh. K.P. Yadaw

Director General

Shri K.P. Yadaw, IA&AS is currently holding the additional charge of RCB&KI, Jammu w.e.f. 01-03-2024.

He is an IAAS Officer of 1996 batch. He worked as Director in the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General of India and National Technical Research Organization, PMO, New Delhi during the period 2007–2013. He also worked as the Principal Director of Audit (PDA) (Central Audit), Lucknow; Principal Director of Audit, Northeastern Railway, Gorakhpur; and Principal Director of Audit, Central Railway, Mumbai and Director General, Central Railway, Mumbai.

He did his MA and MPhil degrees from Jawaharlal Nehru University. He graduated in Economics from KMC, University of Delhi. He obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from IGNOU.

He was a fellow of the International Auditor Fellowship Programme (2006) under the aegis of Government Accountability Office (GAO), Washington.

Besides, he underwent Executive Training (June 2014) from the Goldman School of Public Policy, University of California, Berkeley.

Previous Director General

Dr. Abhishek Gupta, PAG(A&E), J&K, held the additional charge of RCB&KI, Jammu w.e.f. 21-03-2021. He was relieved on 29-02-2024 on his promotion and transfer to CAG office, New Delhi.

Ms. Jaya Bhagat (IAAS-1995) joined as Principal Director of the Regional Training Institute, Jammu in February 2019 and was promoted to the post of Director General in February 2020.
