Indirect tax wing is one of the receipt audit wings of the office of the Director General of Audit (Central), Ahmedabad where the Goods & Service Tax & Central Excise and Customs revenue audit is conducted under the overall supervision of the Director General of Audit (Central), Ahmedabad.
The INDT wing functions under the charge of a Group Officer supported by field inspection parties and headquarter staff. Each field inspection party is headed by a Sr. Audit Officer and consists of one or two Asstt. Audit Officer (AAO)/ and one or two Sr. Auditor/ Auditor. The work at INDT headquarters is managed by a group of well-experienced SAOs, AAOs, and Sr. Auditors/Auditors/Supervisors.
