Ms. Mani K belongs to the 2001 batch of the Indian Audit and Accounts Service and took charge as Principal Accountant General (Audit-I), Rajasthan, Jaipur on 31-07-2026 (A.N.). She holds the additional charge of the Office of the Accountant General (Audit-I), Rajasthan, Jaipur, while continuing with her original charge as Principal Accountant General (Audit-II), Rajasthan, Jaipur.
Ms. Mani K holds a Master of Science degree and a Master’s in Public Administration (MPA) from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), UK, besides professional qualifications of Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management (PGDFM).
She joined the Indian Audit and Accounts Service in 2001 and began her career as Assistant Accountant General, Accounts & Entitlement, in the Office of the Pr. AG (A&E), Kerala. She subsequently served as Deputy Director (Admn/TFC), Railway Audit, at the Office of the DG of Audit, South Central Railway, Secunderabad, and as Deputy/Senior Deputy Accountant General (Admn), State Government Audit, at the Office of the Pr. AG (Audit-I), Maharashtra, Mumbai.
She has held key positions as Director, Commercial Audit, at the Office of the DG of Commercial Audit and ex-officio Member, Audit Board-II, Mumbai, Director, Central Audit, at the Office of the DG of Audit (Central Expenditure), New Delhi; and Director/OSD, Overseas Audit, at the Office of the DG of Audit, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She also served as Accountant General (Accounts & Entitlement), Office of the Pr. AG (A&E), Bihar, Patna, before proceeding on deputation.
Smt. Mani K brings rich and varied international audit experience, having conducted External Audits of the World Food Programme (WFP), Rome, on multiple occasions, and Embassy Audits. Most recently, she served as Senior Audit Officer with the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), Rome, Italy, bringing extensive global and multilateral audit exposure to her current responsibilities.
