Shri K. Jayakar Babu

Shri K. Jayakar Babu is a 2020-batch officer of the Indian Audit and Accounts Service (IA&AS). Prior to joining this office, he served as Deputy Director of Audit (Central Expenditure) at the Prayagraj Branch and later as Deputy Director of Audit Defence Services, Prayagraj of the Office of the Director General of Audit, Defence Services, New Delhi. He is currently posted in Mizoram as the Deputy Accountant General (Administration & Accounts).

Before his induction into the IA&AS, he has 35 years of experience in Indian Audit and Accounts Department in various capacities before accepting the responsibilities as an IA&AS officer. He belongs to the state of Andhra Pradesh and Telengana.
