Certification of Accounts
As per Section 19 (1) of the C&AG (DPC) Act, 1971, the duties and powers of the Comptroller and Auditor-General in relation to the audit of the accounts of Government Companies shall be performed and exercised by him in accordance with the provisions of the Companies Act, 2013. Certification audit of accounts is conducted in respect of those Central Public Sector Undertakings (CPSUs) where this office is the Principal Auditor.
The Annual Accounts prepared by DVC is audited by us under section 47 of the DVC Act, 1948 and certified in terms of Rule 31 of DVC Rules, 1948.
