OFFICIAL LANGUAGE SECTION
The Official Language Section is functioning to increase the spread of Official Language Hindi and its development. Official Language Implementation Committee is constituted in our office and meetings are held in every quarter. According to the provisions of the Official Languages Act, 1963 and The Official Language Rules, 1976, reviews of the achievements and progress of the targets set in the Annual Programme issued by the Department of Official Language for the progressive use of Hindi for official purposes in the central government offices are made in the meeting. Hindi Workshops are organized to increase the knowledge of Official Language among the officials of the office and for the use of Hindi in official work. Further, officials are also regularly nominated for Language Training programmes conducted by Central Hindi Training Institute, Hindi Teaching Scheme, Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs. The office magazine is published every year in which interest of officials towards Hindi can be seen. Incentive Scheme by the Department of Official Language has also been implemented in our office for officials doing original work in Hindi. Similarly, the Official Language Section of our office is in constant endeavour to increase the progressive use of Official Language Hindi and work towards its development.
