Shri Pushpendra Gehlot is an Indian Audit & Accounts Service (IA&AS) Officer of 2020 batch. He graduated in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. He is posted as Deputy Director (Direct Taxes) in the Office of Principal Director of Audit (Central), Bengaluru. He assumed this charge on 02nd January 2023. He is responsible for Compliance, Financial and Performance audit of Income Tax Department (Karnataka & Goa). He also holds the post of Deputy Director of Regional Training Centre, Bengaluru.
Prior to joining this office, he was posted as Assistant Director (Government Accounts) in the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India, New Delhi.
