Shri Deepak Mathews, IA&AS, Principal Director, Bengaluru belongs to the 2009 batch of Indian Audit and Accounts Service (IA&AS).  He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Technology and Master’s in Business Law.  He is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) as well as a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).

He has held different charges in various offices of the Indian Audit and Accounts Department.  He was the Director when Centre for Data Management and Analytics (CDMA) was formed in Office of the CAG of India.  Before assuming charge as Principal Director of Audit (Central), he was on central deputation as Director in Cabinet Secretariat, Rashtrapathi Bhavan.

He also has experience of multiple audits of international bodies under the United Nations at places like New York, Geneva and Kosovo.
