Shri Atul Prakash, IA&AS Accountant General Shri Atul Prakash is an IA&AS Officer of 2006 batch. He assumed the charge as Accountant General (Audit-II), Odisha on 06 January 2025. Prior to his posting as Accountant General (Audit-II), Odisha, he served as Accountant General (A&E), West Bengal. Shri Prakash has done B.Tech (Hons.) in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) from National Institute of Technology, Calicut, Kerala (2001). Shri Prakash has wide knowledge in Audit of Social, Economic and General Sectors, PSUs as well as administration area. He worked in MNC Larsen and Toubro Limited in Project Management Sector (EPC Business) from August 2001 to 2004. He was involved in various Performance Audit in the states of Nagaland, Bihar and Uttar Pradesh as well as Union of India. He held certification audit of Finance and Appropriation Accounts in DGA (Central Expenditure) and handled audit of several ministries viz-a-viz Ministry of External Affairs, SC, ST, Home, Labour, Finance, Information & Broadcast etc. Shri Prakash participated in various Embassy Audits of Indian Mission/Posts/PSUs in Bangladesh and South Africa and United Nation Assignments which included Audit of WHO, FAO, UNICEF agencies. |
