Brief functions of Audit Management Group - II:

Audit Management Group-II (AMG-II) is entrusted with the audit of Five Clusters comprising eight State Government Departments, along with their subordinate offices and autonomous bodies, excluding the State Public Sector Undertakings (SPSUs) under the respective departments. AMG-II is responsible for conducting the audit of both revenue and expenditure relating to 3139 audit units (Apex, Auditable & Implementing Units) falling under its jurisdiction.

In addition, the Group undertakes the certification audit of the Civil Accounts of the State Government. The State Finance and Appropriation Report (SFAR) Section also functions under AMG-II, which includes conducting voucher audits in two Resident Audit Offices (RAOs) and the Financial Attest Wing (FAW).

The Group functions under the supervisory charge of the Deputy Accountant General (AMG–II). For efficient administration and execution of audit functions, the Group has been further organized into Four branches, namely Headquarters-I, Headquarters-II, Reports Section and SFAR (including Two RAOs and FAW).
