
Dr. Nanda Dulal Das is a member of the 2015 batch of Indian Audit and Accounts Services. He joined the Academy as Director on 4th May, 2024. Before joining the Academy, he has served in the department of Audit & Accounts in various capacities such as Director(Training/Research) at ICED Jaipur, Deputy Accountant General, AMG-I & Admn at the O/o Pr. AG/AG (Audit)-I, West Bengal, Kolkata, Deputy Accountant General, Pension at the O/o Pr. Accountant General (A&E) Orissa, Bhubaneswar.
Dr. Das is a Fulbright- Nehru visiting scholar. He did his Post-doctoral research on Solid Waste Management in smart cities in the USA.
He completed his post-graduation (Gold Medal) and under-graduation (Silver Medal) major in Geography. Dr. Das completed his PhD on ‘Convergence between Watershed Development Projects & Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme’ in India, and his MPhil on ‘Dynamism of Agricultural Land-Use around Metropolitan Cities’, from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.
His research and areas of publications include Climate change, Waste Management, Blue Economy, Audit of Natural Resources, Urbanization and Smart Cities’ Development, and Use of tools of remote sensing and Geographic Information System (GIS).
