An officer of 1989 batch, she has spent 32 years in various positions in the Government of India. Her portfolio includes establishing three offices, including the Rs.100 crore- International Centre for Environment Audit & Sustainable Development (iCED) at Jaipur. She was at the helm in bifurcation in two States leading to the establishment of offices at Dehradun and Telangana. She also served as the Director of External Audit, World Food Programme at Rome. A regular faculty in training institutions of the Department, she has served a stint as Professor in the National Institute of Financial Management. She enjoys writing and trekking since student days in the Delhi University.
