About Him:
Shri Majumder is currently holding the post of Deputy Director of Commercial Audit at Visakhapatnam Branch Office under Director General of Commercial Audit, Hyderabad. He is from commerce background and has served in different wings under Commercial Audit of Comptroller and Auditor General of India such as Coal Wing (Kolkata), Mines Wing (Kolkata), Steel Wing (Ranchi) and AF & WR (Kolkata). Subsequently, he was inducted in IA & AS on 06/03/2023.
As a Deputy Director of Commercial Audit, he is responsible for supervising the Annual Audit Plan of the Visakhapatnam Branch Office which comprises of over 130 auditable units of various Public Sector Undertakings and Autonomous Bodies spread across the southern states of India and includes mainly the Ministries of Oil, Shipping, Petroleum, Mines, Road Transport & Highways, and Power. The Annual Audit Plan includes field visit of Audit Parties engaged in Financial, Compliance, and Performance Audits.
