A Public Information Officer (PIO) has been appointed in this office to assist in discharging the Right to Information duties.

Application Form Format
The application should clearly contain his name and address of correspondence, telephone number (optional) and specific information, if feasible. And the information he/she wants, including the date etc., should be mentioned
Fee
DD/IPO/Cheque of Rs. 10/- for RTI Application Fee/Document Fee under RTI should be addressed to the office of DDO/Senior Audit Officer/Administration, Director General of Commercial Audit, Mumbai.
Court fees are not a valid mode of stamp payment under the RTI Act. The IPO can be issued in favour of the Senior Accounts Officer, DGCA Mumbai.
Quantum of Fee:
A request for information under sub-section (1) of Section 6 shall be sent along with an application fee of Rs. ten in the manner mentioned in (1) above. Otherwise the request will not be considered a valid request, and no notice will be given.
For furnishing information under sub-section (1) of section 7
A fee shall be charged at the following rates:
- Rs. 2 (A-4 or A-3 paper) for every page or photocopy of the page created.
- The actual charge or cost value of a photocopy in large size paper
- The actual cost or price for the samples or patterns, and For inspection of records,
- there is no charge for the first hour of inspection and five rupees for each subsequent hour.
Appellate and Appellate Authority etc.,
If any As per Section 19(1) of the RTI Act, 2005, the CPIO/CPO The decision of the PIO can be appealed to the Appellate Authority. Shri Biren D. Parmar, Director General is the first appellate authority of this office.
